Situation
Investigating potential issues occurring within the UC system, the current administration stances, and policies. We stay informed on what's happening within the larger community. Our focus is on empowering students to investigate any potential violations or points of interest. They will seek out issues that are not being addressed or being "swept under the rug."
Action

Review resolutions of A.S., regents meetings, UC administration meetings; staying as informed as possible
Review updates from current organizing groups (COLA, USLAC)

Establish relationships with professors, administration, A.S. leaderships, UC SA leaders to contact in the future for assistance and collaboration

​Directly lobby via meetings, networking, and contacting leaders and POIs for campaign support/endorsement
Result
Successfully petitioned against the UCR athletics department budget cuts, receiving nearly 16,000 signatures in support of our cause and ensured the safety of UCR athletes.
Successfully Petitioned against customs and border patrol from attending UCR jab fair
Kept students educated on ongoing issues within the UC system.
